Junior Front-End Developer - Just Brands Africa / SOCO ED

Jan 2023 – Mar 2024.

I worked with a group of developers to build, maintain and extend custom solutions for various clients including some of the top universities in South Africa. I was the lead front-end developer on many of the UI/UX features and improvements on the Topic LMS and similar systems. My responsibilities also included bug-fixing, testing and the implementation of responsive design. The company followed an Agile methodology, with company-wide weekly scrum meetings being held in addition to small daily scrum sessions.

I was the team leader in group of interns working on a PHP based system. I was exposed to development, deadlines and project management in a business environment. I also contributed to front-end projects near the conclusion of my internship.
